Definition of the Money Back Guarantee

Abundant Flow Water Systems, Inc. (AFW) guarantees the quality of its systems with a "No Questions Asked" 120-Day Money Back Guarantee (the guarantee). The original purchaser (the customer) of one or more items purchased directly from AFW may return it within 120 days to receive a refund pursuant to the restrictions and guidelines laid out below.
 

Items Covered by the Guarantee:

Systems
Residential systems; including reverse osmosis, water softeners, air injection systems, backwashing systems, upflow systems, flow through systems, anti-scale and scale preventing systems (specifically: MagnaSoft, Filtersorb, ScaleMaster, and MagnaZone systems), cartridge systems, arsenic systems, nitrate-nitrite systems, tannin systems, UV systems, and chemical injectors; that are used for residential applications.
 
Control Heads
Residential control heads including Fleck and Autotrol designed for residential applications.
 
Filters, Membranes, Media, Resin, Repair/Replacement Parts, Accessories, Upgrades (Items)
All regular stock items; including residential filters, membranes, media, resin, repair/replacement parts, accessories, and upgrades; that are used for residential applications.
 

Items Excluded From the Guarantee:

Systems
Custom systems, special order systems, systems sold in "used" or "as is" condition, systems sold for resale, or systems explicitly marked as excluded. All commercial systems; inclusive of commercial systems used in residential applications; including commercial/whole house reverse osmosis systems and systems designed or rated for use that meets or exceeds the commercial use guidelines as set forth in this guarantee.
 
Control Heads
All custom control heads, special order control heads, control heads sold in "used" or "as is" condition, control heads sold for resale, control heads explicitly marked as excluded, and control heads generally accepted to be of a commercial nature. Any control heads used or designed for applications that meet or exceed the commercial use guidelines as set forth in this guarantee.
 
Filters, Membranes, Media, Resin, Repair/Replacement Parts, Accessories, Upgrades (Items)
Opened, used, installed, or otherwise spent items in this category. All custom items, special order items, items sold in "used" or "as is" condition, items sold for resale, and items explicitly marked as excluded. Any items used or designed for applications that meet or exceed the commercial use guidelines as set forth in this guarantee.
 
Chemicals
Any and all chemicals purchased are excluded from this guarantee due to shipping restrictions and hazardous materials costs. Excluded chemicals include, but are not limited to: potassium permanganate, chlorine pellets, chemical regenerants, and any other substance known to be of a hazardous nature.
 
Damaged/Broken Items
Any item that has been mutilated, broken, damaged, disfigured, or defaced, or otherwise rendered unsalable, unusable, or inoperable. Items damaged in shipping and damage covered under warranty does not fall under the scope of this guarantee.
 
International Orders
International orders are generally excluded from the guarantee unless an exception has been made and noted. For exception inquiries on international orders, please contact the main office.
 
Definition - Commercial Use - For the purposes of the guarantee, commercial use is any such application meeting one or more of the following parameters: items used in a commercial or municipal building or for treating the same; items used where 40% or more of actual use (excluding idle time or backwash/regeneration time) meets or exceeds flow rates of 15 gallons per minute (GPM); items used for 20 hours or more continually; and any items that specifically state they are of a commercial nature in advertising, literature, or order documentation and parts, replacements or accessories for the same.
 
Any item not listed in the "Items Covered" section are excluded
 

Length of the Guarantee

This guarantee is valid for 120 calendar days from the date of delivery of the purchased item(s). Date of delivery will be determined as indicated by verifiable tracking information. If verifiable tracking information is not available, date of delivery will be assessed at 7 business days following the purchase date indicated in AFW records. Arrangements for return must be made PRIOR to the completion of the 120-day term or the guarantee will be forfeited.
 

Coverage Limitations of the Guarantee

The guarantee applies only to the original purchaser of the item(s) as indicated by AFW records, and is non-transferable and not eligible for resale. AFW is not responsible for failure to make contact within the guarantee period for any reason; including, but not limited to, delays in assessing the item, incorrect use or application of the item(s), loss of time, misplaced item(s), local communication interruptions, technical difficulties, or natural disasters, and stated incidences WILL NOT incur any type of extension on the guarantee.
 

Details of the Guarantee

"No Questions Asked"
The customer is not obligated to answer any questions concerning the nature of the return, however, questions may be asked in an effort to improve customer satisfaction and offer the best customer experience. In many cases issues regarding the systems can be resolved through discussion with AFW support staff, or alternative solutions can be recommended for item exchange.
 
Initiating a Return
Before returning any item contact with AFW must be made and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be issued and a return address will be given. Returns received without a valid RMA number or returned to an address other than instructed will forfeit any applicable refund! Upon receipt of an RMA number, carefully package the item to be returned to ensure safe transit. On systems and control heads that have been used, they should be cleaned as much as possible with consumables removed (filter media, resin, filters, membranes, and other items that get replaced regularly, as they are non-refundable) before returning to reduce return shipping costs. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, and insurance is recommended to protect against any damage during transit. AFW is not responsible for any damage incurred during shipping on returned items. AFW, at its discretion, may offer to arrange for return shipping and deduct return shipping charges from the refund amount. Returns must be received within 14 days of RMA issue date to be eligible for a refund.
 
"Money Back"
Upon receipt of your return the returned item(s) will be inspected. Once inspection is passed in accordance with this guarantee a refund will be issued using the original method of payment. In cases where the original method of payment is no longer available, refunds will be issued by the method chosen by AFW. Refund amounts are determined by return condition as follows:
 
"New Sealed" Condition (All Items)
Unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Item should be received in the same condition it was sent out in. Qualified returns in “NEW-SEALED” condition will receive a refund of the original purchase price, less the cost of shipping.
 
"New-Opened" Condition (Systems and Control Heads Only)
Unused, undamaged items with original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Item should be received in the same condition it was sent out in. Qualified system and control head returns in “NEW-OPENED” condition will receive a refund of the original purchase price, less the cost of shipping. If retail packaging is damaged or any components are lost or missing replacement costs will be deducted from the refund.
 
"Used" Condition (Systems and Control Heads Only)
Any item that has been used, installed, or otherwise rendered to less than “NEW” condition. Returns in this condition should be cleaned as much as possible with consumables removed (filter media, resin, filters, membranes, and other items that get replaced regularly, as they are non-refundable) before returning to reduce return shipping costs. Systems and control heads in this condition will have a restocking fee applied as follows:
RMA Issued 0-59 Days – Restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price applies
RMA Issued 60-120 Days – Restocking fee of 30% of the original purchase price applies
 
Opened/used items other than systems and control heads (including, but not limited to, filters, membranes, media, resin, repair/replacement parts, accessories, and upgrades) are excluded from the guarantee.
 
Definition: Original Purchase Price - For the purposes of the guarantee, original purchase price is defined as the line item price of the returned item as indicated on the original purchase documentation, and as dictated by AFW records. In case of a discrepancy, AFW records take precedence.
 
Definition: Cost of Shipping - For the purposes of the guarantee, cost of shipping is defined as the charges incurred by AFW to ship the purchased item to the customer. Cost of shipping may include actual shipping charges, shipping materials, handling charges, and other fees, costs, or expenditures directly connected to shipping said item. Some customers may be charged shipping charge on the purchase documentation. In such cases the charged rate will be used when determining the cost of shipping to be deducted from the refund amount. On items marked with shipping inclusive phrases including, but not limited to, "Free Shipping" and "Shipping Included", shipping charges may be noted (but not charged) on the purchase documentation. In such cases indicated shipping charges will be used when determining the cost of shipping to be deducted from the refund amount. In cases where no shipping charges were charged or indicated, the actual cost of shipping as dictated by AFW records will be deducted.
 

Disclaimer

All responsibilities of AFW regarding the guarantee are set forth in this policy. AFW will not be responsible for any incidental or consequential costs or damages incurred by purchase of products offered by AFW, including, but not limited to, water damage, leaks, inconvenience, travel expenses, telephone charges, loss of revenue, loss of time, loss of equipment usability, loss of life, property damage, or loss of finances. By purchasing products offered by AFW the customer agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.
