How to Process a Warranty Return

For warranty inspections, please follow the following steps.
1. Ensure that you ship all related components. Missing components can not be inspected and may lead to improper diagnosis, delays, or rejection. 
2. Parts integrated into your plumbing (bypass valves, feedwater adapters, etc) are usually not required unless the issue is with that part. Please contact us if you believe there is a part that is not needed and difficult to remove to avoid unnecessary delays. 
3. Verify information on this form is correct and make any necessary corrections. Add any notes that may be helpful, and include this sheet with the return.
4. Clean up the parts up as much as possible to expedite turn around time, then package well and ship to the address provided. INCUDE WIA # ON PACKAGE(S) **NOTE: Returns must be received within 14 days of WIA issue date to prevent delays or rejection.
5. Take the readied packages to the nearest UPS center or post office and ship. Make sure to fully insure the package and purchase tracking services. AFW is not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. If there are no shipping locations nearby, you can create shipping labels online at www.usps.com for mail or www.ups.com for UPS.
6. Once the return has been received in our warehouse, please allow 3-5 business days for inspection and processing. Valid warranty claims will be repaired or replaced at our option and returned to you at no charge. If a problem is discovered that is not covered under warranty you will be contacted to discuss repair and return costs and options.
